Ropa Suites: A New Era of Luxury Accommodation Opens in Dubbo
Date: March 30, 2025
Dubbo, NSW – The regional hospitality landscape has reached a new milestone with the official opening of Ropa Suites, a premium 16-room serviced apartment complex. Located on Roper Street, nestled quietly just off the bustling Bourke Street business district, the development offers a sophisticated stay for both corporate travelers and tourists.
Strategic Development for a Growing Region
Developed by PV Projects, Ropa Suites was built to address the increasing demand for high-quality, sustainable accommodation in the Central West Orana region. Founders and principals Vince Williamson and Pete Parkes, along with partners Dan Poulter and Ben Ashcroft, formally launched the facility on Thursday, February 19, 2026, alongside representatives from the Dubbo Regional Council and the office of Dugald Saunders MP.
The project’s timing proved impeccable, as the opening weekend coincided with the NSW Touch Junior State Cup, which brought approximately 10,000 visitors to town. Consequently, the facility was fully booked immediately upon launch.
Tailored for Comfort and Sustainability
The single-storey complex was intentionally designed to integrate seamlessly into its residential surroundings. According to developer Vince Williamson, the goal was to provide a facility that "fits right in" while offering modern amenities.
Key Features of the Facility:
Diverse Room Options: The complex offers a mix of standard, premium, and two-bedroom suites to accommodate solo business travelers, long-stay guests, and families.
Premium Amenities: Guests have access to a swimming pool, professional laundry facilities, and ample on-site parking located at the rear of the property.
Fully Serviced Living: Each apartment is spacious, well-furnished, and maintained to luxury standards.
Supporting the Local Community
Beyond providing luxury lodging, PV Projects views Ropa Suites as a way to alleviate pressure on the local long-term rental market. By providing 16 dedicated short-term rooms, the development potentially frees up residential houses for local renters.
"The economic development team at council identified this area is hard-up for accommodation," Vince Williamson explained, noting that the suites will serve tourists and workers from the Central West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) alike.
