Broken Hill North Public School - Heritage Stonework Restoration Project

Broken Hill North Public School had experienced significant structural movement in A Block, a heritage-listed building on the campus. Following professional consultation, the building was deemed unsafe for use due to concerns about its structural integrity.

PV Projects was invited to tender for the restoration in conjunction with Heritage NSW, the Department of Education, engineering consultants, underpinning specialists, stonework experts, and school representatives. After being awarded the contract, a collaboratively developed scope of works and construction methodology was established between all parties.

Throughout the project, PV Projects has worked closely with stakeholders to address complex heritage requirements, respond to emerging structural issues, and adapt construction methodologies as needed. The project is scheduled for completion in August 2025.
